I posted these questions on Phoenix Tuning's forum and will post here as well. Hopefully this can be used as a reference for me and other prospective swappers.

I was dead set on an ST205 front clip as the donor, however, I am looking more into an ST215. I do have questions though:

If i do go for an ST215 (which is my new first choice), what are the major components i need to make sure it has if i get just the engine? I've read on other forums that buying the whole clip is unnecessary since the engine comes with everything. Other than the uncut harness and ecu, what else do i need to make sure it has?

What about the custom disc/flywheel/plate combination to match the 3s to the stock Gt transmission? Is there any difference between what I would have to do normally on a 3rd gen?

These are just some from the top of my head. I am not worrying about the wiring right now as I will leave that to a professional.

Thanks for any information

I know the 4th gen had a different exhaust manifold design than it's predecessors but will a downpipe from a 3rd gen fit with no modification? I've tried many forums across the languages but could find a set "yes" or "no."

No, a gen 3 downpipe will not fit the ST215 turbo. You will need to build your won or to buy this one and modify your midpipe because the lower flange on the downpipe is a different :

Good luck with your swap!
