I am desperately searching thru my Dad's auto mags of this month to find the article he was describing. It supposively said that Nissan is going to counter Toyota's release of a supercar in 2005 with it's bringing of the Skyline to the US in 2007. Is this true?

Yeah I don't understand why toyota is backing out of the performance side of the car scene.
IMO they should do something to try and steal some of the thunder from the WRX, Mazdaspeed Protege, and EVO. They already have a great engine in the 3s-gte, or 2JZ. Why not upgrade one of those engines, and drop it back in an all-wheel drive car. If they wouldn't have discontinued with either of those engines it would be miles above all the cars I listed above. I do not understand what toyota is trying to do. They need to give us something. |
