 beams 3s-ge timing belt |

gettin a timing belt done , head is wrecked....mechanics doing the job say they cant find a timing belt for it..said it needs 174 teeth?? how can this be they cant locate a proper timing belt???? aaaaaaaaaaaarggggggggggggh

Thanks Edophus, you sure thats the part number for the BEAMS 3s-ge?? cos apparently the belts are different lenghts...its the one for BEAMS i need. and Rusty no, the pistons didn't hit, just gettin the job done for peace of mind. have the car 3 years now, jap import, not 100% sure when belt was done last, like a said..just for peace of mind

Thanks man, thats great, problem solved, they ordered the belt through main toyota dealer...fitted it today..ready for collection tomorrow. happy days. thanks again. |

good stuff, i did the same thing as soon as i got my first beams, changed the belt just for peace of mind!
