Sorry if this has been covered multiple times and beaten to death, I've searched and didn't come up with anything. Is there any way to modify the fog lights to have them able to turn on with out having the headlights on? I've looked at the circuit and couldn't really see a way to do it, and I couldn't for the life of me get the relay out. I've done this mod on my 05 Corolla and all I had to do was cut a wire coming from the switch and ground it, and on my 05 Tacoma I bent a leg of the relay and tapped into a 12v source. Has anyone done it?

not sure exactly what kind of fogs you have, but if you just run a 12V (from anywhere, even the radio) to a switch (mount it anywhere you want, I have 5. one of them controlling my fogs) and then to the lights.
I assume if they are hooked up to a relay you would need to run wires to the pos and neg wires of the fogs at the front of the car. But it should work 12V►switch►fogs -------------------- |
