Sorry if this has been covered multiple times and beaten to death, I've searched and didn't come up with anything. Is there any way to modify the fog lights to have them able to turn on with out having the headlights on? I've looked at the circuit and couldn't really see a way to do it, and I couldn't for the life of me get the relay out. I've done this mod on my 05 Corolla and all I had to do was cut a wire coming from the switch and ground it, and on my 05 Tacoma I bent a leg of the relay and tapped into a 12v source. Has anyone done it?

what i did since i have hid's with a wire harness i ran the line from the battery to the harness inside my cabin to a switch that i can turn off and on as i please. It's better because my alarm flickers the lights which are bad for the hids but if i have the switch turned off and the light switch turned on i can turn on just the fogs. really easy but again you need the harness, you could even run normal bulbs off the harness tbh, it takes the input from the normal switch to turn on but it wont send out the current out til the switch inside the cabin i wired up is turned on.
