Sorry if this has been covered multiple times and beaten to death, I've searched and didn't come up with anything. Is there any way to modify the fog lights to have them able to turn on with out having the headlights on? I've looked at the circuit and couldn't really see a way to do it, and I couldn't for the life of me get the relay out. I've done this mod on my 05 Corolla and all I had to do was cut a wire coming from the switch and ground it, and on my 05 Tacoma I bent a leg of the relay and tapped into a 12v source. Has anyone done it?

that is the correct way on ours.
Either cut the power to correct relay pin and wire in 12v when parking lights are on or tap from an acc 12v source.

I thought so but I couldn't get the relay out... It's locked into the holder and i tried getting the tabs holding it in there loose, but I felt like I was going to break it. Is there a trick to getting the relay out?
