ok so on the rear suspension of my 94 stx coupe there was a thick rubber doughnut-like gasket/spacer that sat between the top part of the spring and the bottom of the strut mount. When i looked at the illustation from a toyota catolog it wasnt there so i removed them, afterwarsd my car makes a light clunking sound on certain bumps. Atm i can only find one of these spacer/gasket type things does anyone know where i can find another?

But in other words, since you took them out, that is the reason there is so much noise. The rubber acts as kind of like an insulator. |
