ok so on the rear suspension of my 94 stx coupe there was a thick rubber doughnut-like gasket/spacer that sat between the top part of the spring and the bottom of the strut mount. When i looked at the illustation from a toyota catolog it wasnt there so i removed them, afterwarsd my car makes a light clunking sound on certain bumps. Atm i can only find one of these spacer/gasket type things does anyone know where i can find another?

Try getting one at a junk yard for the time being.
But in other words, since you took them out, that is the reason there is so much noise. The rubber acts as kind of like an insulator.
