I have decided to fiddle with fiberglass.
My first question is, i need a good supplier online of fiberglas, and resin. Would also like the fiberglass spray. No, will not buy at walmart or auto zone or 0reilly. I need high quality, show, fiberglass. Where do you guys get it at. More questions to come. but this is for now. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

Any news? Did // will gel coat be used?? mgnt232-- Can you help xplain the dif between gel coat & resin? I know gel coat is the nice smooth finish, but how to determine if gel coat is needed or if resin is suficient?? Any help would be appreciated!! |

I am not rlly sure how it is determined it a gel coat is needed, I know the gun and system is pretty pricey, and you can get most things on a fiberglass mold smooth with sanding more resin and some bondo. But thats just the way I have done things, may be an easier way
