I'm semi new to the site and Ive been reading other posts on ideas of what to do to my celi
![]() Unfortunately my top gave way today. I press the button and i hear nothing not even the motor trying to work. Funny thing is it worked the day before when I put the top up and down to mess with the regulators on the driver side which I need to replace as well ;x. I'm wondering if the switch or if theres a fuse that might be blown? I was using the search feature to look through old posts so i wouldnt be reposting something someone may have covered beforehand. Had no luck but found a nifty guide to changing the regulators just have to find the damn part. Well back to my top i press the button and nothing and I dont even hear the motors at all. Any ideas on what may have happened? Edit: the rear windows still function going up and down so I'm clueless as to what's going on. This post has been edited by Imawakeyo: Aug 19, 2010 - 8:50 PM |

carbon in inside the switch. I had to pull the switch out of the dash. they take the switch apart. You can do this carefully by using a flat head screwdriver and pulling the inside part of the switch out. Inside there are two rockers which are made of copper and have silver colored contacts. I cleaned all the contacts, but in a little di-electric grease and then put the whole thing back together.
