would like to ask about piping size when we say 2inch or 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 so on, is this the inner diameter or outer diameter? and what gauge or pipe thickness is best if I go stainless, some say that you connot use stainless on a turbo set up pipes will crack is this true

in our location, the size is referring to the outer diameter.
i have some friends using stainless pipes for their turbo setup and none of them experience cracks on their pipes. |
