Question has anyone fitted 215/45/16 over 7gen rims and have pics?
Is there much over sidewall?
Will there be much negative gain for having 215/45 over 16x6.5?
I know my speedo will be faster than what im travelling. Which is clearly not a bad thing and i can manage that. Just worried about handling and grip terms.
And what is the stock tyre fitment for a 7gen rim?

Or even 205/40 ? cause right now on my 7gen they are 205/50 and i like the ration of tyre wall. And running 40 will mean a gap between guard and tyre, making me want to drop my car more to compensate. But last time i had the 7gen rims the lowest point on the car was 7.5cm and i dont really want to go any lower!

Tyres currently in mind are KU36, R1R and RT615

Different Tire Setups

-Current setup on my Celica 225/50R16 has an overall diameter 632.46 mm
-Celica SS-III, 205/55R15 has an overall diameter 607.06 mm
-Celica ST setup 185/70R14 has an overall diameter 485.1 mm
-Yokohoma S Drive 205/45R16 has an overall diameter of 586.74 mm
-Yokohoma S Drive 205/50R16 has a overall diameter of 609.60 mm (This setup is recommended by yokohoma off their website for 6.5" rim)
-Falken Azenis RT-615K, 215/45R16 has an overall diameter of 599.44 mm

You said you you didnt care about the size of the tires becuase your speedo would be off. But my question is that is my Celica ST speed sensor different to that of a speed sensor that comes on an ss-II or sx-r celica??
