My friend's car, a '94 ST, broke down today. It will start, and immediately run really rough, and it's leaking oil. A lot. I only ran it for a few seconds just to see what was wrong. I was in a hurry and on the side of a highway so I didn't get to see exactly where it was leaking. Any ideas?

sounds like you lost a rod. does it knock or sound metallic? I agree. Most likely, a rod or a bearing. If and when the oil is low and the crank is spinning, it's not a good sign. Did he ever say anything about loss of power? Also a knock from the bottom end would indicate so. -------------------- |
