I'm trying to be-badge the rear, I got the TOYOTA off and I tried to rub the gunk away but to no avail. Goo-Gone will definitely work but I have no clue if it'll harm the paint. Has anyone used Goo-Gone on the paint and been clean? Thanks.

It takes off the shine a bit if your paint is fairly new. I messed up putting my emblem on my recently painted bumper and went through the ordeal of taking it off and putting it bak on. Goo gone works decent but it won't just completely come off. I got a rag and a blade and with the blade in the rag gave it a few swipes after using the goo gone. Goodluck :-)

The paint under the badge will be nicer than the surrounding paint, I used goo gone and didn't really notice it effecting the paint but I still can see where the T used to be.... Oh ya, my car is black also.... -------------------- Failing to prepare is preparing to fail!
