I'm trying to be-badge the rear, I got the TOYOTA off and I tried to rub the gunk away but to no avail. Goo-Gone will definitely work but I have no clue if it'll harm the paint. Has anyone used Goo-Gone on the paint and been clean? Thanks.

well i used it to get that sealing gasket off from the spoiler mounting point. A bit got on the surrounding paint and I simply wiped it off with a wet rag it didnt seem to do much harm, but ounce I got it all off I made sure to clean the areas with soapy water. so far nothing bad happened to the paint.

I'm fairly sure he is kidding, but for anyone wondering... Don't use gasoline, if it gets past your clear coat for any reason it will eat your paint fast. TRUST ME. |
