Question has anyone fitted 215/45/16 over 7gen rims and have pics?
Is there much over sidewall?
Will there be much negative gain for having 215/45 over 16x6.5?
I know my speedo will be faster than what im travelling. Which is clearly not a bad thing and i can manage that. Just worried about handling and grip terms.
And what is the stock tyre fitment for a 7gen rim?

Or even 205/40 ? cause right now on my 7gen they are 205/50 and i like the ration of tyre wall. And running 40 will mean a gap between guard and tyre, making me want to drop my car more to compensate. But last time i had the 7gen rims the lowest point on the car was 7.5cm and i dont really want to go any lower!

Tyres currently in mind are KU36, R1R and RT615

Only recently i have found out its the tyre wall number is not a measurement but a percentage of the width. Lets say 215mm wide / 40% of the width and not a measurement.

As for feeling more bumps, it really doesnt bother me. Rough rides are fine, im a man hhaha.

yea I already knew that, I read that information on tirerack.com about 3 months ago. true that, we have sports cars right!!!
