HI to everybody
ok so i just swap the steering wheel of my car and install the 7 gen steering wheel from UK car and the connection for the horn is totaly different!!!my car is JDM celica and have the following one...:(my old wheel don't have airbag) there is the 7gen steering wheel from the back:(new one have airbag) as you can see there is no circle plate like the 6 gen one and can not make the connecton when ineed to use the horn! so if someone have idea PLEASE to help me thanks cheers Dimitri p.s. i can not use the old plate circle becouse i just sold the old wheel here...and if i make one i can not keep it in the new wheel This post has been edited by cyprus_gt: Sep 25, 2010 - 7:06 AM -------------------- |

do you have the clock spring for the 7th gen wheel? you will need the clock spring to plug in the horn, air bag, and cruise control if equipped. i think you may also have to modify it or find someone that has one already to go for the car. don't know a lot about the whole stock wheel swaps since i'm running an after market nrg wheel. your best bet is to read this thread.

I just bought it from him so I have to figure out how to wire it on my car once it comes in. I believe I might have an extra clock spring for the 6th gen if you need it for your 7th gen steering wheel. Don't wory mate - the wheel have a place that you can connect your wire for the horn that comes form the car...the problem is my car don't have - she use this plate surround so i still didn't find a way to connect it!
