Well this winter I am going to park my car in the driveway and work on the 3sgte a little. If i can try to tune it up better. Set the SAFC-II right. But what i really want to do is clean up the engine bay. I have seen a bunch of engines on here VERY CLEAN like new! I want my engine to look just as nice.

What do you guys reccomend i use? CLR? Simple Green? or what? And yes I am going to take the parts OFF and clean them. I heard i can have the engine steam cleaned but i don't know if they can do what i want?

Well any info you guys can give i would appreciate. Thanx

David

ITs similar to sand blasting just smooths the surface better when spraying, brings your parts out looking brand new.

So if its similiar to sand blasting does that mean i would have to take out my engien to glass bead it??

David

yes.

first, take you car to a car wash place and have it steam cleaned(thats what dealers do before they put a used car on the lot)

then work on the parts that are still dirty with any type of engine cleaner/degreaser
