I just bought a JDM steering wheel from Cyprus_GT, and I know that few other people wanted that wheel as well. Just to say, you're lucky you didn't get it because I've been outside for about 2 hours trying to figure out how to convert the plastic piece that holds the headlight and windshield switches. It is such a b!tch! I have the piece I need to make the contact on the back of the steering wheel, I got it from Manny off the clip he use to have, but I need to convert it to LHD since it's RHD. The real problem is that the USDM headlight and wiper switches don't slide into the JDM headlight and wiper slots...
I've been searching around and all I see is JDM this, JDM that, but NO JDM wheel conversion! I went though all 53 pages that came up when I typed in "JDM Steering Wheel Conversion" and I didn't see anything about a JDM steering wheel conversion. If anyone knows about a write up on the JDM steering wheel conversion, PLEASE let me know!

I’ve never tinkered with a non-airbag wheel, unfortunately. . . sorry I can't be of more help kindasad.gif

With that said, I don't recognize your wheel as a 6gc part- I don't think any of the non-airbag wheels over the years on jdm 6gc's were perforated-leather wrapped? From a late model Carina ED or Corona Exiv, maybe?

I'm at work today for the most part, but I can do some research once I’m home and possibly give you better info as soon as tomorrow
