Is there any (relatively) cheap way to increase low end torque on the 7AFE besides decreasing car weight?

Would an Injen intake or a K&N 57i europe kit help?

Different exhaust?

Unlike stated last year, I still have not gotten a new car, so I'd like to make the most of this one without serious mods while it's serving me.

The fundamental problem with the 7A can be best described by this photo:



What you can see is the difference in the openings between the 7AFE Exhaust ports and the 3rd Gen 3SGTE smile.gif

We have the Ebay header on the race car... and yes you have to extend... something? we dump the exhaust (de-cat-ed) through that resonator and then out the side of the car - Sounds Great and we are quite happy with the few extra HP we scavenged because of it.
