Hello to all, Im sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I thought it might be the best place for this. Does ANYONE know or heard from pittfirefighter? As most of you know, he was doing the leds in the climate control units. I dont know if I am the only one but I have paid my money and have recieved nothing, nor have I heard back from pitt. The last time I heard from him he said it was done and he only had to ship it out. That was months ago and I have sent message after message with no reply. Unless he is dead there is no reason to do what he is doing and take people's money!
I just want my cc or my damn money back. It pisses me off that this guy cant send me one damn message. If someone can please let me know what happened to this guy or even better, if you can get in touch with him that would be great. Thank you p.s. I realize this problem has nothing to do with the 6gc website. I am only trying to get some info from other members. |

I have to say, if I had to give out my phone number (even if only mods can see it) I wouldnt sign up. There are other avenues to use. One, if you paid by PayPal (as most of us do), file a claim. If that does not work, take it one level higher and file a claim with IC3 (worked for me). Really for both of these to work as much for you as possible, you need to show that you have been at least trying to keep contact with seller (ie, dont delete all your PM's from one seller untill you get your stuff, as you'll need them at one point).
But one thing that could use improvement in my opinion is our Rep. Feedback is the first thing I check out about a seller/buyer, and if you guys don't leave any (no matter if its negative or positive) you make it hard for the next person to accurately judge. I've seen sellers with 100% feedback, but when I ask people who have bought things from them I get the "never got item", well why did you not leave some negative feedback? If you feel like you are getting ripped off, have gotten no contact (and you've been trying, honestly), plop some Neg on there. Now, its not a total fail safe, but it gives you an idea of what type of person your dealing with. And don't just look at the number, read the comments as sometimes the buyer/seller makes up for it (somehow...I know this personally). There needs to be an option where you can retract a Neg feedback and have it reflect as Neutral (if you work things out with seller/buyer). |
