so the other day i pulled the plugs out of my 1997 celica's 5s-fe and looked at them and found some oil on the one in cylinder 2 kindasad.gif and ALOT of oil on the one in cylinder 4 frown.gif

im wondering what possible causes there are for oil to be in only cylinder 2 and 4 ..

my father (eventually passed it down to me) ran our car (also a 97 but an ST) for several years with a similar problem... it eventually started billowing out smoke... eventually this happened: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FTWFLFDgtow

so if you are having oil in your cylinders I'd suggest looking into at least getting a head gasket kit... it'll be a good amount of work, but it should help a bit. this will also give you a chance to look at the condition of the cylinders and pistons...
