Car - Toyota Celica 1997 ST. 7AFE.

I was driving at about 60 - 70 mph. I accidentaly shifted in to reverse while driving like 3 times while trying to change to 5th gear. Each shift lasted like 3 to 4 seconds in reverse at those speeds. frown.gif I know I messed up. Did I damage the transmission? frown.gif

there is no way that you got the car in reverse at that speed. the syncros wont let you.

i did it made a grinding noise.

That grinding noise is the gears bouncing against each other because they aren't threading. If you had actually gone into reverse on the highway, your transmission would've fallen off (not really, but it would've been effed up BAD)
