I joined today to ask for help compiling a checklist for a 97 convertible. I would've asked yesterday, but this site didn't come up on google searches. (might want to edit meta tags)
Anyway, its 1-owner, 160k, AT. I know there was more sound insulation starting in 96. I'm asking for any common problems, quick/temp/bad fixes(that they may have applied), info on inspecting the top, problems that appear only when driving, anything YOU would look for in buying this car. |

leaks is the most important. the rear windows falling apart, and the side drains clogged and drownning your rear ..
other than that is the same as a hatch or coupe. save the hassle and get a hard top. Unless you must/want convertible. I love mine, would not change. but then again, i dont know your intentions. -------------------- Learned a lot in 10 years... I hardly log in anymore, last login Today Sept 6 2019, and I was forced just to clarify a post. LOL

A great civilization is not conquered from without until it has destroyed itself from within. @llamaraxing in Instagram is the best way to find me. I hardly log here anymore. |
