I was removing the lense from my projector and the heat messed up the chrome finish on the side part so I am looking for pictures of projector headlights (stock ones) blacked out.. something like this..
![]() or more like this since my car is red and will stay red (or maybe black) ![]() I don't know if I want to do it, just thought I'd look into it. I don't want the glass tinted, but the housing painted. here is what happened and why i am seeking the pics.. ![]() This post has been edited by jcbass7: Nov 1, 2010 - 11:52 AM |

Aww, Jesse, your projectors are shot... Completely ruined. That sucks. The only viable option now is just to put them in a box and mail them to me.
![]() I personally think it would look good. The chrome part that came off is there to reflect the light from the DRL, so if you plan on running the DRL/parking light there, you'll need to repaint it chrome. If you aren't going to use that light, by all means, paint it black and see how it turns out. If you don't like it, you can always repaint it chrome to make it look decent from a distance until you get the money to sent them off to have them repaired. -------------------- "Employ your time in improving yourself by other men's writings, so that you shall gain easily what others labored hard for." -Socrates.
