hey everyone, i just bought a 8k hid kit for my car about a week ago. put them in and they worked awsome for about 3 or 4 days... now im having troubles. when i turn my lights on they both come on and stay on for about 30 sec. then the pas. side light flickers and turns off. sometimes it will flicker and come back on, other times it wont, and i turn my lights off and then back on. i have looked at all the conections, they are all good. if anyone knows anything please help, i dont want to get pulled over for having a light out.

Before I say anything, could I get some more information? What brand HID's are they? Have you switched the ballasts for the driver side and passenger side bulb to see if/how that affects the issue?

I had HID's from Griffgirl in my Celica both in hot and cold weather, and that never affected them. They are now in bloodMoney's car in Chicago, up there by you where it is even colder than it is here, and so far as I know, he isn't having any issues with them either and they are nearly two years old. I also have factory HID's in my Lexus, as many cars do, and they are not affected by temperature either.
