What's up guys?
I asked Culp about this already and he advised me that it is probably the spark plugs, wires, etc. But I thought I'd ask around, even though he is a veteran at Celica problems. I have a 94 GT with a swapped 3rd gen 3SGTE, FMIC, Greddy Boost Controller, HKS BOV, and 3 inch piping with a Apexi exhaust. Not sure if all this is relevant, just thought I'd let you guys know my setup in case any of these things has to do with the problem. I usually don't drive my car hard, but the other day I tried to red line it and when I reached about 5k, the engine started to struggle to get higher. When I punched it, it pulled HARD. But when I reached 5k it wasn't pulling so hard again. Any suggestions on what may be causing this? I didn't check to see if the boost was still hitting hard, but I doubt this is a turbo problem. Thanks in advanced for any help! -Ryan |

as long as you drive responsably you will get good MPG out of this engine, I mean considering the power it has and such.
on a regular week I get pretty close to 30 MPG driving to work ( 90 miles round trip ) I'm currently running 17 psi, I can get as low as 18 MPG when enjoying the car on weekends. so it's all on your driving. -------------------- |

Sounds good! Thanks Culp. Yea, I don't really punch it too much. If I do, it's on the rarest of occasions. Thanks for all the info guys! -Ryan |
