My "archaic" 1993 LT1 Trans Am just hit the dyno today. Thought you guys might get a kick out of this stuff:
and a vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eBLSSHOthAs That's me walking around obviously. This thing feels like 3x the Celica when it get into it, it comes on like a freight train exactly how the Celica does. It's AWESOME. Traction is an issue however. My TT Vette I just sold was SOOOOOO much smoother and more linear....gotta love the GM Gen IV stuff. Anywho, thought some of you might get a kick out of 20# of boost on a 383 V8 with more room to grow (it's a PT76GTS and NOT maxed out). -------------------- |

Let's just say that with the 275/40-17 Firehawk Wide Ovals, traction is a problem. It'll break them loose at any speed in any gear so far. The boost just comes on so violently. So much different than my Vette which had a very linear power curve with a pair of 20G's pushing into the 377 motor it had. Of course, that had 305/35-18 Nitto drag radials too.
I'm about 10 miles from St. Louis for now. Probably moving within a few months, not sure where yet. -------------------- |
