I've been in the market for a miata for a while now and I've found one I really like. Problem is, its red. I've always had white/black/aquamarine (my '64 impala) cars. I'm concerned that I'll get more attention from the po-po with a red car. Anyone care to comment? i drive real fast here in dallas, but the cops are pretty laid back about speeding, they have better things to do. When I'm on long road trips I'm usually doing 5-15 over if the conditions are good and traffic isn't bad.

I had a red MX-3 GS for a year and got pulled over once and because I was doing 75 in a 50. Unless cops are dicks they dont bother you, occasionally Id have a cop following me but never anything that Id consider herassment. In my mr2 Ive never had a problem, Im sure that will all change in the spring";)
I think they are more inclined when your driving a psorts car period. Though Im sure they are just as quick to pull someone over in a Buick. I just think from a distance they will be paying attention to the kid in a sports car over the old guy in the buick. This post has been edited by Uppitycracker: Jan 18, 2004 - 1:33 PM |
