Well, i took my horn out and made sure it works on my 4runner, which it does, and the horn off the 4runner doesnt work on my car... I know that the fuses are good, which means it is the wiring....how do i check the wiring ....how do i remove the airbag to see if the metal is making contact... cheers to anyone who helps

Probably the cable that goes under the air bag. Mine wasn't working and I didn't notice it until I was taking my heater core out and had to remove the steering wheel. Mine was snapped off probs due to age. It's a simple fix. Hope that helps

It was on my list of things to check, which I did... and it was indeed that connector/wire that is behind the airbag. Once again the 6gc community provided me with information that would take hours if not days for someone to figure out on there own. Plus I did find the horn relay... duuurrr... underneath the engine bay relay/fuse-box cover has what each one goes to... the gray box is the horn relay (which btw had no idea how to check if its good or bad). Anywho checking three things, finding the problem, and fixing the problem took ~1 hour). I really appreciate this forum and its contributing members! -Vic -------------------- ![]() |
