 Red cars a bad idea?, Anybody with one had trouble???? |

I've been in the market for a miata for a while now and I've found one I really like. Problem is, its red. I've always had white/black/aquamarine (my '64 impala) cars. I'm concerned that I'll get more attention from the po-po with a red car. Anyone care to comment? i drive real fast here in dallas, but the cops are pretty laid back about speeding, they have better things to do. When I'm on long road trips I'm usually doing 5-15 over if the conditions are good and traffic isn't bad.

Yep,
I installed some blue neon inside my car at my friend's house, then a couple friends and I left to get some food, and a quarter mile or so out of my friend's house I got pulled over and got a $171 ticket for it.  Apparently it's really easy to mistake my car for a police car.
