I am new to 4gc. I don't own one yet but i'm looking to buy one. I was wondering if I should go for the GT or the ST? I'm looking for reliability and economy mainly as I have a Supra I'm working on for my performance car. what are some of the common problems for these engines / cars that I should keep an eye out for. also if anyone is selling in the north jersey area I'm interested. Thanks

GT's get 28-32 mpg, depending on how you drive it. ST's can get upwards of 34-35. But the ST is the most torqueless, powerless car you'll ever drive. If you want a car for looks and gas mileage, ST all the way. But the GT just has more power at any RPM. That's not to say that it's fast, because it isn't. I would recommend getting a GT over an ST, but you can't go wrong with either one.
