Anybody know if, by chance and luck, an auto starter is the same as the manual starter?
Edit for future help to others: Both the ST-204 Manual and Auto Starters ARE the same Same goes for the AT-200 - Manual and Auto are the same Apparantly there are two types of each tho - 1 for Cold weather and one for normal use. Hope this helps someone else in the future! Thanks Presure2, Spider77 and Bitter for the confirmations! Rock Auto lists 4 different ones.... .8KW, 1KW, 1.2KW and 1.4KW
However, I think at most places the choices are 1.0 and 1.4KW, typically the 1.4KW is coupled with a heavier battery as well but can be useful when just a little more cranking power is needed for an engine with a hotter cam or higher compression -------------------- |
