Hi folks,
Gelesen hast ihn sicher schon mal Jo würd mich freuen der Mountain Rush in Gosau wär ja top da kommen ja einige. mal schauen wie sich alles ausgeht, versprechen mach ich noch keine..... Hi Alex see you are everywhere . Just would like to ask what is benefit of gen5 throttle body and valve cover? Hi Martin, there are three problems to solve with the valce cover - find one that fit the top mounted wta intercooler - that fit with the gen.3 center feed throtthle body - and i need threads for the COP setup the gen.4 will 90% not fit in front of the side feed TB and the higher intake manifold they used so i decided to try a gen.5 cover as toyota went back to a center feed TB on the latest version of the 3S-GTE so there space in the TB area and hopefull the intercooler will fit but i have a bad feel.....if no one works i will modify the gen.3 cover..... in front of a talk to a friend which uses a haltech ECU on his engine i got told that the ECU can 't can controll the ISCV 100% well so i will go for a haltech and the gen.5 TB don't have the valve attached as it is mounted on the side of the intake manifold, the other reason is that i can use a standart hose from intercooler to TB which i want if i will use a phenolic intake spacer to get a safe fitted hose i hope that answers your questions but feel free to ask greetz This post has been edited by Sunny: Jan 21, 2011 - 12:55 PM -------------------- |
