High beams are not made to use when other ppl are around, they are made to be used when your alone with no other cars(or lights) around, so you can see the deer (or moose where you are) before you hit them.
Goodluck with your swap and ill be awaiting your millions of questions and rants about how we didnt tell you so.. The lowest priced 3rd gen on jdm montreal is $2,000.
