I'm swapping my 4 spoke wheel for a 3 spoke wheel, and the airbag connectors of course don't match up. The wires from the connector that runs to the airbag module are blue and yellow. If I used the multimeter right, I've determined blue is power and yellow is ground.
The wires on the wheel connector are red and black though. I would assume that red is power and black is ground, but when I connected them the airbag light stayed on, so I switched it and ducked, no airbag deploy but the light is still on. Can anyone confirm if the 7th gen airbag connector is indeed red for power and black for ground? And if so, do I need to reset the airbag ECU after splicing in the connection? Thanks -------------------- |

No point posting up a new thread so I will post here, I recently bought a second hand steering wheel to start on my project car. The only problem is I don't have the harness that actually plugs into the air bag. Pictures can be seen below, was wondering if you have a part number? The steering wheel came from a toyota, and I know a lot of cars share this wheel. Though the connecting harnesses are not the same.
