So I was driving down my block yesterday I saw this Lexus IS300 with theese rims that I absolutelly fell in love with. So I did some research, the rims are from a 2006-2009 Lexus Is, and the dimensions are 18x8 with a 45mm offset. I know our cars come with 15x7 but I was wondering if becuase the rim will sit higher, will the extra inch on the width cause a problem? Would I possibly need to use spacers? If any one has rims that are the same dimensions as theese lemme know how they fit, Im driving 96' Vert at the moment. Thanks guys preciate tha help biggrin.gif

Also I forgot to mention....I know the set of 4 comes staggered, If I was to do this I was planning on buying each rim 1 by 1 so that I could makesure that they are all 18x8 (saw them on ebay already biggrin.gif)....Im almost 100% sure 18x8.5 is too wide.

Im pretty sure a 45 offset would not clear the bottom of your strut.
I have 18x8 witha 35 offset and I'm pretty happy with the fitment.
They just barely clear the strut.

EDIT: They might clear the strut if you are not lowered, Im lowered on tien s techs.

What size is your tires by the way?

225 40 18. 5x100 and 5x114 are not the same pattern. Some rims may have both patterns on them, but they aren't the same.
