Does this matter?....Can you use green coolant, or is it recomended 2 use the red.....whats the diff. and am i hurting it while running the green. its about 70% green/30% water...let me know.

No Problem man.
I ran the Preistone stuff before (always after swaps cause i believe it helps to clean out the new engines- about 3k then flush and replace with Toyota brand) Mechanicaly speaking, it wont hurt anything. As long as you have some kind of coolent in there, Hell you can use plain water... you'll have to refill it every few miles lol, but it'll keep ur engine running in a pinch. That OEM stuff lasts forever though. What do you mean you'll have to refill it? I ran my car on reg water after I rebuilt it for the first 300 miles. Makes it easy to just pour out anywhere. Anyone in a warm enough climate can use just water, it's just wise to put in an anti corrosive additive. |
