Coolant? I just run water, and water wetter in my chargecooler system. Never ran into any problems with that setup.....only real reason is because coolant just got extra expensive for me at one point, when i had to keep taking my engine out to diagnose clutch/tranny problems last year....kept it simple with the water and havent gone back to coolant... ...lol I hope you don't plan on keeping your car for a long while, like pressure2 said coolant has anti-corrosion protection, if it doesn't get cold there it won't freeze but your whole cooling system obviously won't go as long as one thats been maintained, even here in Australia where coolant is $30-40 for good stuff you only have to do it every 5 years or 250 000km so its not like Its a whole lot of money. |
