Lets hear some of your injuries you've had in your lifetime.
I'll start off with mine. Yesturday I fractured and displaced my scaphoid bone in my wrist and spent 12 hours in the hospital, was put under to have it re-aligned, and need surgery to put pins in my wrist to temporarily hold it in place. I fell down a set of stairs while snowboarding. We were sliding the rail alog the stairs. It was stupid. Me and my crew are filming a video. I got the trick I waanted, but i was not satisfied with how it looked so i wanted to do it again. I sketched out on the run-in and should have stopped but went for it anyways. Ended up landing backwards with my board parallel to the stairs, and i guess i put my hands out and thats when it happened. -------------------- -Protection mode, For when your amp tries to blow its load. 1995 Toyota Celica GTS - Daily Driver 1999 Chevy Cavalier - Winter Beater 1994 Honda Civic CX Hatchback - Dead My Celica! |

There wasn't necessarily an injury that lead to this, but back in August 08 I had to have my upper jaw removed for a bit.
Doctors (surgeons) sawed it out right where your upper lip meets the gums, cut 6 strips front to back in the bone in the roof of my mouth, stretched it out, and put it back in with 16 screws. To this day, when I get sinus pressure I can feel it on the roof of my mouth and my top teeth. Thread specific: when I was a freshman in high school (2001) I was skating a halfpipe at a local park with some friends. I came up to tailslide a section of the coping, and my board cut into what appeared to be an inch of wax on the coping. Board stopped, but I didn't. I came down on the coping with my right knee, bounced outwards, and fell 15ft to the bottom of the pipe on the same knee. Instantly couldn't feel my leg, and my knee swelled up to the size of Grapefruit. My douchebag friends took me home, instead of the hospital. My parents were unamused to say the least, but said, "meh. We'll take you to the emergency room tomorrow". Couple surgeries later, and my kneecap was happily reunited with the appropriate ligaments. -------------------- 1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of money
