alright so heres the deal...ive had my 94 GT for 3 years now and have always wanted to make it like the ones i see on this site. However its a 210xxx miles and the engine is finally startin to crap out. I tried to start it last night and usually it starts right up and now its cranking but not starting!! frown.gif. I just want some opinions on what you guys would do in this situation. Is it time for a new car?( maybe another 6g celi) or just a reason to do the gt-four front end swap smile.gif . I know a clip will provide all the engine stuff but what else am i looking at having to do to the car because its at such high miles. any input appreciated. Am i digging my own grave holding on to my first car ? lol

EKAn is right. A motor swap will fix your engine problems, but what about the suspension? Bushings? Bearings? Overhauling the entire car might just be too much of an issue. Or you might get lucky and the car could be in great shape and a motor swap would solve everything.

You said this is your first car? I know I've gotten to the point with my Celica(s) that cost/maintenance/repairs aren't even a concern anymore. I've got one, I'm rebuilding everything, and I don't care how much more I spend on the car than what it is actually worth.
