Originally this car was a white auto GT, but it was swapped to LSD manual Beams. The engine is fairly new, just had it installed maybe a year ago. No problems except for a minor oil leak, i have to refill with half a quart every 3k-4k miles. By then i'm ready to do an oil change. Not sure how many miles is on the motor, but the mechanic who installed the motor said it was looked new internally. I've only used Royal Purple 10w-30. Not sure where the leak is coming from. I have an oil pressure gauge installed to monitor the oil pressure. The body of the car has a small dent on the rear, its going to need a new front bumper with new front SS splitters. I wanted to do a repaint, but the paint on there isn't too bad bc i've waxed it throughout the years i've had this car. A/C and heater both work, all electronics work (windows, sunroof, radio, cd player) for the most part. I am the original owner. Selling as is. I'm selling this as a "track car" bc it will NOT pass emissions.
Couple things that don't work/need replacement: -rear defroster don't work -wipers front and rear don't work -need to replace the d2 cartridges that are on the car. D2's quoted me $120 per cartridge. -might need new brake rotors soon -new headlights (they work, but the tabs are broken, and the high beam has a leak that water keeps getting into. They do align with the road though) I'll add pics soon, we are snowed in right now in TX. The pics in the profile are old pics right after i got it from the body shop. But other than that, it still looks the same. This post has been edited by sugarfree: Mar 16, 2011 - 7:18 PM |

Well I just came back from cheking out the car. When we got there the seller was honest, he pointed some of the cosmetic damages the car had and some other issues. The car is in fair condition but it does need some work to get it to good condition . The paint on the front of the car had chips, mostly on the front bumper and hood. Paint was also chipping on top of the sideskirt, overall I think the it would need a paint job. The odometer read about 220k miles, the car rode a bit too bouncy and rough (IMO) but Iam sure if you replace d2 cartriged or just buy some kyb struts that will fix the problem. The owner also told me that one of the wheel bearings was bad. The interior was goods, seats had no tears or stains, the carpet was good . The only thing that showed wear was the door panels and the middle arm rest ( i think that's what its called) . The engine seem to leak oil from the head more towards the intake manifold but I have no idea exactly where or whats causinf the leak, also the top of transmission was cover in oil. I. The engine and transmission sounded fine and drove fine, a/c and p/s worked. The only thing that kinda bothered me was that the car felt a bit sluggish in first gear (mostly when you're wot) but after that drove fine. The car had some other damages but he stated almost all of them on the first post. Overall I think the car will need some work to bee in good condition. Either way bump for a beams Celica
