Doesn't this usually mean that a valve adjustment is needed? Because I got my valves adjusted not more than 12k miles ago... is it already time again?

does yours ticking start at around 3000 rpms? cause mine does and i cant figure out what it its

Idling. It's probably the injectors, or a sticky lifter someone had said earlier.

No, the exhaust is fine. The timing belt was replaced less than 2k miles ago and the other belts should be fine as well, it hasn't even been 12k for those.
