Does anyone know if I would have to change my registration for my car if I painted it a different color, but left some parts of the car the color that is on the registration?
I.E. - Say you have a black car, and you're thinking about painting it, uhhhhh, white. If you left the hood, mirrors, roof, and spoiler black (lip kit black as well), would I have to change the registration from black to white or could I keep it as a black car since I still have alot of black on it? Your supposed to do it, i got pulled over when i first painted because he ran my plates and it came up a red celica i guess. But luckly I had changed the reg. but i guess the paper work didnt go all through at that point.
But its only a little form, and i think i got charged maybe 20-30? but i cant really remember. I know your technically supposed to change it in NY, so do it and save your self a a bull**** ticket in the long run -------------------- |
