I looked everywhere, both in car audio and home audio sites/companies and have found what i believe to be the best set of 8\'s for the buck the will ACTUALLY fit with no modification. They are home theater speakers, so they are very efficient (50watts max rms, sensitivity 84dB @ 33hz) and can reach high enough to do well in a 2 OR 3 way setup. And its 4 ohm, which is a bit harder to find in home theater speakers. I went ahead and found what i think to be a good tweeter match too. I would put a HPF on the tweeter at around 4.5-5k if the included crossover gives too strong of a midrange.
8\" speaker/sub http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.c...tnumber=299-098 Just put a set of these tweeters on the same wires and be done with it http://cgi.ebay.com/JBL-P26T-POWER-SERIES-...#ht_1691wt_1059 This post has been edited by DGolden32: Mar 16, 2011 - 1:10 PM |

The thing that usually gets in the way is the magnet, which is why i went with the neo woofer. I'm 100% sure this will fit. I'm actually not doing this as i have a great set of jbl power series components and 2 jbl powers series 10's. I did this for everyone who was asking about it in other forums
