My crud Costco battery is slowly dying, so I'm looking for a good replacement. I run an amp on low power and my commute is really short, 2-3 miles to work or school. Needless to say, the battery takes some abuse and doesn't get charged much, although I don't run accessories on battery power that often. I've heard good things about Optima batteries, and I can get a yellow top locally for $120. Thoughts?

If you want to do it on the cheap, find an Interstate dealer and go buy a blem. I picked up a brand new battery with some physical damage for $45. Still works perfectly, they just can't sell batteries with physical blemishes for full price.
IMO, Interstate is the best battery you can get without going to optima. (I have both) -------------------- ~bloodMoney
