I looked everywhere, both in car audio and home audio sites/companies and have found what i believe to be the best set of 8\'s for the buck the will ACTUALLY fit with no modification. They are home theater speakers, so they are very efficient (50watts max rms, sensitivity 84dB @ 33hz) and can reach high enough to do well in a 2 OR 3 way setup. And its 4 ohm, which is a bit harder to find in home theater speakers. I went ahead and found what i think to be a good tweeter match too. I would put a HPF on the tweeter at around 4.5-5k if the included crossover gives too strong of a midrange.

Just put a set of these tweeters on the same wires and be done with it

Sorry i just realized those links for the speakers somehow are broken!

lets try this again... if it doesn't work, just go to PartsExpress.com and search "8" Neodymium 4 ohm". Tweeter model is JBL P26T

8" sub/midrange

Forget the crossover bullcrap, just throw a set of these jbl power series tweeters/crossovers for $58 on em. no assembly required
