There is a blue plug on the back of the instrument cluster. It is pin # 9, wire is gray.


(found that but will double check)

I'm pretty sure you can, but I would soder, or use connectors if you can. I wouldn't want anything to go wrong with the RPM readings. Correct me if I'm wrong guys, but I believe you can splice into it.
