So, these past few months have been CRAZY busy for me, and I haven't had the time to devote to the calendar that I've devoted to it in the past two years. I'd still really like to do it this year though; it's something I really enjoy doing, and I love that you guys are into it and I love being able to provide it as a sort of "community service" to the board members.
So here's my thinking— because it's really quite late in the year for me to set it up as in the past, where I've collected contributions & posted a poll, I'm thinking that it would be pretty cool to be able to take the past COTMs and feature them in the 2011 calendar. Since COTM hasn't been running all year, I'm thinking I can supplement the missing months with some of the Featured Celicas from the home page, along with a few of the VERY VERY close runner-ups from last year's polling. There were a few shots that came in extremely close, and I think they deserve their spotlight too. As for the cover shot, honestly, it's going to be a toss up for me. I'm leaning towards either using some very high res shots I've got from the meet I went to down in Southern Cali - some nice group shots - or, actually, just using my own car since you don't have to look at it all month anyway. Many (most) of you haven't seen the update on my car, but I assure you, it's quite worthy And of course, having a phat camera, I can shoot a good quality high res picture of it. Alright - I want your feedback on this, people! The calendar is for YOU GUYS, so I want to know what you all think. I'm open to suggestions too; just keep in mind that realistically, these need to be printed in the next 2- 3 weeks, so time is of the essence. -------------------- |

Just woke up to the email notification about the bank declining the transfer. You're not the only person it happened to, it happened for one other transaction as well, for which I was emailed about yesterday and IMMEDIATELY actually FORWARDED the email to the person it affected to let him know what happened and that I'd call the bank to inquire about it today.
I had a past problem with PayPal and had to block them because they were making unauthorized charges to my account. The block was supposed to be a one time deal, but I'm guessing that's what the problem is here. SO, since you have my email address as well, I would very much appreciate if in the future you could just email me directly about stuff like this instead of blowing it out to the world. Had you done so I'd have emailed you too just as I did the other person. It's not like I'm going to just initiate a refund that I know won't go through to "make it look good." I understand your frustration but sh*t, that's just pretty immature. I have lost my job and am systematically issuing refunds weekly as I'm able to. I will reissue yours as soon as I get this cleared up with my bank and am able to use PayPal again, which I expect to be today. I have issued other refunds without any problem, so I'm not sure why this has happened with yours and one other now. -------------------- |
