My Beams came with the standard intake which I'm planning on using to start with, but is there any/much advantage going aftermarket with a decent CAI in place? I've read elsewhere that the standard Beams intake is the best...
It was Bonzai's post below that got me thinking. Mine is an auto and still a blast to drive (I usually just auto-stick it since they made the tranny able to do so anyway). But I'm more thinking....GREAT, another person to compete for parts with... *edit* oh and for an intake, I use one from a late 90's 4runner and it works great, but just had to get a proper sized silicone adapter. for the intake check out my thread. All you need to do is buy this : http://www.amazon.com/Short-Induction-Inta.../dp/B002W5XHI8/ cut it and buy a 71mm piping that has a 80-90 degree bend like mine and it works great. -------------------- |

Interesting. Might stick with the standard intake for now then.
Looks don't bother me, but I do love the sound that a good intake makes. -------------------- |
