I was wondering if anyone could help me out with my horn.
I have the big ugly 4 post steering wheel with the two horn buttons. I'm not sure how it was before but this is how it's acting now: - car off - horn doesn't work - key in on position - horn doesn't work - start up engine - horn sometimes works (sometimes it works only after I drove a bit, sometimes even after i drove for a while it doesn't work) I checked the horn fuse in the engine bay...it looks okay to me...checked the power and grounds to the horns, they don't look damaged....all my other electronics in the car work and i don't have any other electrical issues as far as I know... Any ideas? ![]() This post has been edited by nammer: Mar 28, 2011 - 3:45 PM -------------------- |

yeah, that's the second place to look since the horn should go off even when the car is off. although that might just be a jdm feature but maybe someone can confirm this. my other guess would be to check the wiring at the horn fuse. it should be getting constant power.
